Note from Mr. Gammon:

All grade levels will have their Winter Party on December 17th. Whenever we have a campus event, I face the same difficult decision regarding guests attending. I evaluate the time of year, the number of guests that could potentially attend, if the event is optional for students, and the location.

For the Winter Party, parents/guardians will not be permitted to attend this year. In previous years, this event brought in well over a hundred visitors. I must put the health and safety of your student(s) and staff first. I also want to limit the possibility that your child brings something home during winter break that could spread to your family.

Please know that these are not easy decisions to make. It is not my goal or intention to prevent parents from attending events. I wish you all could be here to celebrate with your child and the Daulton staff. I want all students and staff to enjoy their holiday break and not increase the risk of anyone getting ill.
