4th Grade Field Trip 

October 17, 2025

All 4th grade students will be going on a fieldtrip to visit Austin. All information has already been sent home by the classroom teachers. If you still have questions, please contact your child's teacher. Make sure you have everything needed for the fieldtrip and don't be late. The bus will leave at 6:00 a.m. and will not wait for anyone. This is going to be a great field trip and the kids will love it.

Beanstack Reading Challenge

Beanstack (Reading Log App) was launched this past summer.  MISD will continue to use it to encourage students to read more through the use of this app.  

What Is Beanstack?
Beanstack is a web and mobile app used to track independent reading time and help build a culture of reading in school and at home. Students can earn badges in the app as they approach the challenge.  

Our first schoolwide challenge will be - "Fall Into Reading" Challenge from Mr. Gammon. Read 400 minutes by Nov. 30.

Students & Parents - Track minutes by logging into ClassLink or download the app. Time tracked can be independent, parent read, or read aloud in the classroom.
